On a beautiful Thursday in June, I met up with Katelyn & Trenton to capture their elopement at Lost Hill Lake in St. Clair, Missouri. Besides the minister during the ceremony, we spent the afternoon just the three of us. We hiked up to thinking rock, spent time capturing the two of them dancing in the open field, & they were even able to hop in the canoe.
The entire afternoon was so easy going & fun. I love that we went on a mini adventure during their elopement. We didn't have a schedule to abide by & was able to get every portrait we wanted.
I've really begun to appreciate elopements & mini weddings. While big weddings are amazing also, the easiness of the day doesn't get much better than at a small, intimate wedding.
At the end of the day, whether you are surrounded by 100s of your loved ones, just a few, or only with your sweetheart, the most important thing is enjoying these moments with the one you love.
